Glenmere Mansion Bedrooms and Baths

I have to start out by telling you as we climb this magnificent staircase that I am biased.

Not because I am one of the owners, or ar dating one of the owners (although I think Alan and Dan are fabulous hosts!) but because I LOVE GLENMERE.
I love it, love it love it.

Have I told you yet that I loved Glenmere?

Now if you know me – and you probably already do via this incredibly useful and entertaining website – you know that… I am discerning. Eagle-eyed observant. In fact, I’m getting a master’s degree in ‘detail freak’. And proud of all of that

So for me to tell you that Glenmere is perfection… well, it is. Enjoy

How awesome is it to have a landing area by the bedrooms where not only can you make yourself comfy

and there is also a complimentary 24 hour snack bar of goodies.

Dan even made frog cookies! Yummy !

Frogs are famous and treated with respect at Glenmere. I even saw a real live one hopping across the grass this morning. (Should I have tried to kiss him? Pretty as this place is, he just might have been a Prince!)

Isn’t it fun being a looky-loo ? Let’s start with the Vanderbilt suite. Just look at those magnificent pair of candlesticks flanking the front of the door!

It’s very good feng shui to have windows on two sides of a room.

Don’t you just love window seats?

The marble bathroom has a soaking tub with a fireplace and flat screen tv opposite it.

The towels are huge, extra thick and absorbent.

And this is the Penthouse Bathroom. The ultimate in romance, there is a fireplace with a flat screen tv above it that you can see from the deep soaking tub, and an enormous steam shower big enough for two as well.

Junior Suite King, Bedroom 5 at the front of the house has such beautiful windows!

Don’t you love the flat screen tv, fireplace and comfortable easy chairs where you can put your feet up on the ottoman!

The Princess suite is another one of my favorites.

Everything is here for your convenience and pleasure. Alan and Dan have thought of absolutely everything!

The incredibly comfortable easy chairs and ottomans where you can put your feet up and relax, the spacious work desk, the large walk-in closet and ample dresser space, the good lighting, the soundless a/c, the night light that illuminates the underside of the bed so you don’t have to turn on the light and wake up your honey.

Yet another lovely and spacious marble bathroom with heated floors, double sinks, steam shower big enough for two, and windows that look out onto the back lawn and the lake.

Bath salts, and a rubber duckie for the deep soaking tub

The limited edition, Albi Fragrance ‘LauraTonatto’ amenities are HUGE at 5.07 ounces, and housekeeping replaces them daily. Plus, they smell absolutely scrumptious!
