Poetry Inn

I love it here at Poetry Inn in Napa.
I bet you would too. Maybe one day you will come and see it for yourself. I hope so!

It’s a place of peace and beauty, where every bit of tension or displeasure you didn’t even know you had seeps away, to be replaced with deep ease and appreciation.

Of the five glorious suites, The Robert Louis Steveneson Suite on the top floor is my favorite, followed by the Robert Frost downstairs, and then the Emily Dickinson on the mid-level.

Architect Howard Backen has simply done a brilliant job, and combined with the magnificent views, this is quite clearly the best designed boutique property anyone could ever wish to stay at, a seamless blend of esthetics, comfort and function.

You’ll have to indulgently excuse me for the brevity of this post.

I’m going to hedonistically take a nap in the middle of the afternoon, on the comfortable California King sized four poster bed, with the french doors open to the panoramic view of mountains,, vineyards, and blue sky beyond:)

Oh, that view… swoon! I can just see a piece of it off to the right of the photo but can just imagine waking up to it. Ahhh….

Dear Lord. What a gorgeously airy place. I love the name of this inn, too. It’s lyrical, both interior design wise and name wise!

What else would you do in a room like that besides take a nap.
Well, maybe there are some other things but at this stage in my life, naps are pretty high on the priority list!
Looks like a divine place. Hope you are rested and renewed.

    Sweeeet !
Looks so peaceful. If they have a good restaurant nearby, then it’s all one needs…. aside from a good book and cold drink.

I could probably stay in that bed for a week and write a novel in that beautiful sanctity. I see a room with that kind of light and my heart wants to go there. Right. Now.

That cabinet you like houses a big flat screen television, that rises at the push of one of the buttons on the tv remote – how cool is that?!?

Oh my, that looks amazing. I could easily nap there and I am not good at taking naps.
You were on my mind yesterday. I finally got a chance to use part of my gift certificate. It was divine! And, I am saving the rest of it for a combo 2 hour massage/facial deal that will happen in January. So excited about that! Thanks again!
