    Downton Abbey Season Two

Just saw the end of Season One.
Interesting thing with Lady Edith. She did her best to sabotage her sister, and then her sister sabotaged her. I call that karma in action. One thing balanced the other.

    I like Sybil the best.
Mary, well, I’ll give too much away if you haven’t already seen it!

Now get this fascinating news flash — someone finally programmed my tv so that I can watch shows the next day or whenever at my convenience! Whoo-hoo!

So instead of desperately trying to stay up until 10:00 p.m. to watch Blue Bloods or Southland, I can do it at my leisure during an earlier hour.
Which I am going to do right now:)

I know this technology has been around for at leat the last ten years, but better late than never, yes?
Now if I can just learn how to program new stuff in.
For instance I would have liked to watch ‘Frozen Planet’. Hmmm, I’ll have to ask the techie-whiz guy and write it down so I can do it myself in the future.

I may even break down and purchase an iphone or ipad this year. Maybe. I don’t want to get totally wild or anything.

And I sort of like being unavailable when I’m not at home. Why make it easier for people to call or e-mail me when I’m not home? I mean clearly, if I wanted to talk to them, I wouldn’t be out and about doing something else, now would I?

The REAL thing I have on my wish list this week? A butler who would come into my room at 5:00 a.m. and draw the black-out curtains so that the morning light would come into the room, and announce in a deep velvety ‘butler-y voice “Good Morning My Lady. It is time to wake up and get ready to go on your walk now.”

And then he would go into the bathroom, turn on the hot water tap, get a washcloth all nice and warm so it was wet without any dripping, and bring it to me to wash my face.

Then I could drop the washcloth onto the silver tray he was holding just for that purpose.

And he’d have my clean sweats and t-shirt laid out for me to put on, and while I was doing that, he’d go downstairs and make my protein shake and bring it to me before I zipped out the door for the five mile walk, no dilly dallying or excuses allowed!

Well, a girl can dream, can’t she? After all, that’s how ALL realities get started!
