The Connaught Hotel London
True to my word, the General Contractor has begun some work, and I flew off to let him do his job in peace without any “looky-loo-itis” by me.
The flight was uneventful, and immigration and customs took less than ten minutes since I’d sent my luggage on ahead, and just had two carry on’s.
Back in London, such a lovely city with all of its amazing parks, greenery, blooming flowers and magnificent architecture.
Then I went back to The Connaught Hotel, where I always stay, this time in a charming Carlos Suite.
A traditonal and simultaneously elegant living room, with a welcome basket of fresh frui and bottled water.
The butlers had everything unpacked for me when I arrived, and even had the laptop set up, such a treat.
Service is excellent here from everyone!
Truly, the attentive kindness and efficinecy is superlative, and leaves a lasting positive impression.
The white marble bathroom is spotless.
The shower, while small, has great water pressure.
I have yet to try the tub, but watching tv while in the bath is such a decadently relaxing idea…
It’s been a long day, and I cannot wait to go to sleep…
